We felt if I want to hold on to that that it was an accurate documentation of my life though and the good comes with the bad… but now I don’t know.

As a devoted genealogist, i do believe journals could be a gift that is wonderful your own future generations. I would personally offer anything to own a journal that is surviving my Grandmother or her mom. Also life that is daily are like silver to a household history buff. Saying before i let anyone read them that I do have my own journals for certain parts of my life and I would definitely censor them. Great article, and a fantastic internet site. It is loved by me!

inside my move that is last months ago, we discovered my journals. That they had been staying in a drawer that is bottom of infrequently utilized dresser. I usually felt a pang of embarrassment when considering my journals, but I adore rifling via a field or two of tangible memories (matchbooks, buttons, old birthday cards…).

Another vote for scanning here february. I would personallyn’t scan them all, possibly choose some pages that kind of express that which you were going right through at that time and scan those (possibly 1/month? ).

This is definitely a job for ScanSnap february! When you have to tear them away from a binding, simply work with a ruler and utility knife to trip the side so that it’s clean before you feed them through. Scan it and certainly will it. (Recycle-can, this is certainly. )

I experienced this issue that is same year or more ago. We went it was angrily-written or embarrassing and not something I want to remember (other than whatever lesson I had learned from the situation), so I shredded those and felt so much better for it through them all and tore out a few entries to keep, but most of!
